The Allergy Consortium Wageningen increases and communicates knowledge about allergens and the prevention of allergy on a national and international level, through cutting edge scientific research and innovative education. The natural and social scientists working together in the consortium collaborate to achieve professional, practical, and scientific excellence. The ACW is actively developing partnerships with industry, government, academic hospitals, patient organizations and research institutes in order to reduce allergen-related problems aiming to reduce the negative socio-economic impact of the prevalence of allergy and to improve the Quality of Life of allergy patients.
